Making Santa Rosa a better place is my commitment to people of our city.

Santa Rosa is a city of neighborhoods. Meeting the needs of neighborhoods and the city as a whole requires dedication and an ability to get things done. The key to bringing a community together and solving these issues is leadership that can meet today's needs and anticipate the needs of the next generations. I offer to be a part of that leadership.

The widening of Highway 101 will take up to three years to complete. During that time there will be tremendous impacts on traffic flow in Santa Rosa. Santa Rosa must take the lead to ensure that the impacts are managed properly. There has to be a more coordinated effort above what is normally provided by CalTrans and Santa Rosa. Working with our transportation leaders, I offer to help create that coordination.

As a successful businessman, I have served in the Big Brother/ Big Sister -- and the 20/30 Club -- coached youth sports -- sponsor the Annual College Scholarship for Montgomery High students in Architecture--served on the Design Review Board -- and currently serve on the Planning Commission. I believe strongly in contributing to the community.

Mi compromiso con el pueblo de nuestra ciudad es hacer que Santa Rosa sea un lugar mejor.

Santa Rosa es una ciudad de vecindarios. Para satisfacer las necesidades de los vecindarios y de la ciudad como totalidad se necesita dedicación y la capacidad de llevar tareas a su consecución. La clave para unir a una comunidad y solucionar estos asuntos es dirección que pueda satisfacer las necesidades de ahora y anticipar las necesidades de las generaciones siguientes. Me ofrezco para formar parte de esa dirección.

Se tomará hasta tres años para terminar de ensanchar la carretera 101. Durante ese tiempo, habrá impactos muy fuertes sobre el flujo del tráfico en Santa Rosa. Santa Rosa tiene que llevar la delantera para garantizar que el impacto se maneje adecuadamente. Tiene que haber un esfuerzo más coordinado por encima de lo que CalTrans y Santa Rosa normalmente facilitan. En colaboración con nuestros dirigentes del sector de transporte, me ofrezco para ayudar a crear esa coordinación.

Como hombre de negocios exitoso, he servido en Big Brother/Big Sister (organización de hermandad) -- y en el Club 20/30 -- he sido entrenador de deportes juveniles -- patrocinador de la Beca Universitaria Anual en Arquitectura para la Escuela Superior de Montgomery-- trabajé en el Consejo de Examen de Diseño -- y actualmente me desempeño en la comisión de planificación. Creo firmemente en aportar a la comunidad.
