Shaun Faber: Self Made Man Born and raised in Santa Rosa, Shaun Faber was an entrepreneur from an early age. He was your local paper boy at age 12 and during that same time he began to raise rabbits to earn money to buy his first car. Shaun is a graduate from Cook Junior High School in Santa Rosa and from Montgomery High School, class of 1984. Drawing houses every chance he got + he knew what he wanted to do... Shaun was ready to begin his career and started his own architect firm (Farrell Faber and Associates Architects and Planners) at the early age of 23. Currently, Shaun's success has multiplied as he now is a partner in Savannah Development, ECS energy consultants and is an investor in Cal RV. Shaun Faber: Committed to Santa Rosa Shaun has devoted himself to giving back to the community he has called home to for almost 40 years. Shaun served as a big brother in the Big Brother/ Big Sister program for 10 years...was a chair in Santa Rosa Active 20/30 club for 8 years...helped to bring the Annual College Scholarship for Montgomery High students in Architecture...has contributed his creativity to the Santa Rosa Design Review Board for 6 years... serves as a current Planning Commissioner for the city of Santa Rosa and has coached numerous youth sports teams. Shaun Faber: Dedicated to Family Values Shaun and his wife Karin have 3 children, 10 year old Zak, 8 year old Scott and 6 year old Katie. As a family they are active in sports, camping, hiking, bike riding, and their favorite activity: RVing. Through extensive RV travels, the Faber family has made lifetime memories in the western United States, learning its rich history and treasuring its natural beauty. More importantly, RVing has been a valuable tool for their family to take a break from the daily routine and spend time together while having fun. Shaun Faber: A Man of Action With Santa Rosa's wealth of diverse cultures, it needs people from all walks of life. Every part of the city must work together to solve the issues it faces: traffic, growth and affordable housing. The key to bringing a community together and solving these issues is leadership that can relate to all different types of people... Shaun Faber is that leader. Being a self taught man, Shaun holds strong values of unity that propel him to serve the community he knows and loves with integrity. |
