TRAFFIC AND ROAD CONDITIONS: Restripe many of our impacted roads and intersections provide for more turning lanes to keep the traffic flows moving

Repave the streets damaged by last year's rain and fix the potholes

Expand the use of ITS (intelligent traffic system) which monitors multiple traffic signals to keep traffic flow moving more quickly

Complete the Farmers Lane extension

Construct of Bellevue freeway interchange

CURBING GANG VIOLENCE, DRUGS AND CRIME" Work with the School District and community at-large to create an extensive Technical/Vocational High School program that train children at risk so the have skills that are needed in work place.

Recruit more volunteers to provide mentoring programs for children at risk

Have higher visibility of police officers in high crime/gang activity areas

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: Hire a proactive Economic Development Advocate whose full-time job is recruiting new businesses to Santa Rosa and creating partnerships of developers, land owners, and lenders.

Help guide potential new business through the maze of red tape

Create an enterprise zone within the downtown boundaries Build a Civic Center combined with a performing arts center. Create a Downtown Square without closing off Mendocino Avenue

Abolish the "neighborhood center" zoning law that disallows Grocery Stores that are freestanding in neighborhoods. Lower the hookup rates for utilities to stimulate restaurant applications

Tie the redevelopment approvals of Coddingtown to upgrading and improving the downtown mall

RECREATIONAL FACILITIES FOR FAMILIES: Build more bowling alleys, roller rinks and other family oriented recreational facilities

Build more skate parks and BMX courses for our teens Create a bike network throughout the city

Allow basketball hoops on the streets

Build a Minor League Baseball park at the Fairgrounds or other appropriate location
