Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Samuel Anderson

Candidate for
Council Member; City of Manteca

This information is provided by the candidate

I have lived in Manteca now going on seven years. I've seen a lot during this time and I have been involved with this city. My wife and I are simple, but we don't sit by the wayside and allow things to just pass by. In fact, I have gone door-to-door to introduce myself in order to get your vote as well as getting to know you. If elected, I will continue this every month so that I can meet all of Manteca.

I'm not the type that complains about issues and things and doesn't get involved with anything. I've been involved with charities and city events all my life. I enjoy it and it's become a part of my character.

Manteca is growing fast and there is a lot that needs to be done. The current council has done a lot for our city, but there is some spending habits that I do not like and most people are unhappy with it. If elected, I will help change this bad habit.

This is why I am saying that the current council is unbalanced, because they are life-long public servants with no business experience. They do not understand the language of ROI, Risks, Investments, and many other concerns that large and small businesses need to have in place before even entering into any business arrangement with any city. If elected, I can bring to the table my experience in this area.

Currently, our council spends money by the hundreds of thousands on consultants just to interpret the business language so they can understand it. If elected, we will no longer need to spend the money on over-priced consultants.

There are better places to spend this money, especially on our seniors and children. Manteca is growing and the make-up of this city now requires a business manager on the city council board. If elected, can be that manager for you.

Make no mistake about it, if we don't start changing this fact now, we will be spending more money and it will continue until someone finally comes in to fix the problems that will be generated from this method of spending and management.

We have good people on the council, but the mind management set is unbalanced and is not in the favor of Manteca as a city, a business, and for our existence and future.

Elect Samuel Anderson to the City Council of Manteca and I will bring to this great city a fresh and new approach that is a winning strategy and is proven.
