Candidate for
Council Member; City of Manteca

My current campaign is not officially accepting endorsements for several reasons, but I will explain to you a couple of important ones.

1. If I accept one, then I have to accept them all. I get mail from organizations that I do not even know. I know nothing about them and research on them is slim to none. Most of the information they are asking for is already on my website and does not need re-explaining over and over again and it is a complete waste of valuable time. I would rather go out and get to know you personally with this time.

2. Most endorsements have to do with those newspapers and organizations special needs and concerns, not necessarily the citizens of Manteca. After careful consideration to all of them, their needs are not our needs and since it is not a match, there is no need for me to accept or try to obtain their endorsements, especially newspapers who for the most part do not share your interests, they only report.

However, there are several groups that have endorsed me and I thank them for it, but my campaign is for the people of Manteca. I wish to have your endorsement on November 7, 2006.
