Greg is completing his second term on the Morgan Hill City Council. He was first elected in 1998, and he and fellow Councilmember Steve Tate ran unopposed in 2002, the first time two councilmembers have run unopposed in Morgan Hill history.

As a City Councilmember, Greg has worked to protect public safety, expand recreation services, improve our downtown, and restore medical services. He Chaired the Downtown Plan Update Committee, the Indoor Recreation Center Committee, and he currently serves as Chair of the Community and Economic Development Subcommittee.

Greg is married to Suzi, a popular Morgan Hill fitness and dance teacher. They have four children--Tristan, 16, who attends Sobrato High School, Aubrey, 8, Bevin, 6, both of whom attend Charter School of Morgan Hill, and Lachlan, 1, who receives the attention of the entire family. Like most parents, Greg and Suzi spend most of their free time attending their childrens' many activities.

Greg owns his own local business, Sellers Associates, which is headquartered in downtown Morgan Hill. His firm provides public policy consulting services, and has successfully implemented a wide variety of public policy initiatives and community development projects throughout Silicon Valley and the Central Coast.

Greg grew up in Morgan Hill. He graduated from Live Oak High School in 1979, then went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He began his career in the Bay Area, but returned to Morgan Hill to serve as Executive Director of the Morgan Hill Downtown Revitalization Program, where he helped to restore Morgan Hill's Historic Downtown. He has served on the Boards of Independence Day, Inc., the Morgan Hill Historical Society, the Community Law Enforcement Foundation, and Mushroom Mardi Gras, among others, and currently serves as Ex Officio Board Member to the Morgan Hill Downtown Association.

This Spring, Greg received his Master in Public Policy from the Panetta Institute/California State University Monterey Bay, where he specialized in ethics and municipal policy issues. He was named the Panetta Institute Fellow to the International Academy of Achievement, which recognized top graduate students from throughout the world, and served as the Panetta Institute representative to the 2005 Academy of Achievement Summit in New York City.

Greg's hobbies include baseball, sailing, repairing his family's historic Craftsman home and restoring his classic 1962 Thunderbird, which he someday hopes to drive in the Morgan Hill Independence Day Parade.
