GOVERNANCE IS A TEAM EFFORT

The Cypress School District Board of Trustees is made up of five individuals who work together to make unified decisions. No individual has the authority to act without the others, it is therefore imperative that we conduct ourselves with integrity and dignity. The common pratice in this district is to "do what is best for kids".

As the Board of Trustees the five individuals work as one to set the direction of the district and ensure accountability. With changing laws and uncertain financial implications this task requires one to be a life long learner.

As one of the five individuals I am committed to bringing to the team not only my perspective but those viewpoints provided by the other vital components of the District's TEAM; Parents, Staff and Community Members.

I began four years ago striving to strengten the Cypress School District TEAM. I've been honored to be elected to that position and hope I will be elected to continue to serve.
