Lack of police deployment
Lack of police deployment endangers life of police officers and citizens. As an example, on February 9, 2006, Vietnamese New Year eve, in Midway City, lack of team deployment resulted in a lost of life, a $40 Million Federal and State civil right violation lawsuit and the firing of a police officer.

Solution: I will study carefully the current and future budgets and work with other Council members to find resources to support the Police Department in implementing team deployment; at the same time I want our expanded police force to exercise improved community relations and maintain a respectfull community policing. Mr.Darrell Nolta, Orange County and Westminster Community activist and I already had a face-to-face meeting with Orange County Sheriff Mike Corona to advocate for more Sheriff policing in Midway City so our Westminster police officers can spend more time patrolling Westminster instead.
