I worked in the Fullerton School District for 41 years teaching elementary and junior high for eight years. I was vice-principal at Nicolas Junior High for one and a half years, principal at Pacific Drive Elementary School for five years, principal at Rollings Hills Elementary School for ten years and principal at Richman Elementary School for sixteen years. I moved from Anaheim to Fullerton in January of 1998 and retired at the end of June that same year. After retirement, I remained on some Fullerton School District committees and went to work part-time at California State University, Fullerton in the Education Department until I was elected to the Fullerton School District Board of Trustees in 2002. I have been connected with the Fullerton School District for a total of forty-nine years. I have B.A. and M.A. degrees and an Administrative Credential from California State College, Long Beach. CSUF was not completed when I went to college. My volunteer activities include the following: Boys and Girls Club of Fullerton, Board Member Recognition: Received the Principal's Exemplary In Working With Small Busines Award at the First Annual Business/Educators Conference. I have two wonderful children in their mid forties - Phil and Denise. I have three grand-children and two great-grand-children. My hobbies are reading, golf, camping and fishing. |
