Candidate for
Council Member; City of Fountain Valley

I was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. I am a 1966 graduate of Northeastern University in Boston where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Economics. I served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and in 1968 was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service while in Korea. I have served as President of the F V Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of the Board of Directors for over 20 community organizations and corporations. I was named Fountain Valley Citizen of the Year in 1990 and in 1992 I was honored with the prestigious Eagle Award, recognizing outstanding national volunteers for the Boys and Girls Clubs.I have worked in management for Fortune 500 companies as well as owning and operating my own business. In 1987 I was named the Business Person of the Year by the Southern California Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. I believe I have a unique blend of qualifications from succcessful business experience to extensive community service. My wife Barbara and I have lived in Fountain Valley for 33 years and have three children and three grandchildren.
