Public safety is consistantly a top priorty in most cities.
Experience and a dedicated focus will be required to maintain qualified police and fire personnel and equipment. Public safety accounts for aprox. 64% of the city's budget. During my Council tenure Fountain Valley has added Police officers and Paramedics, significantly improved Paramedic response time, and reduced crime rates. My background and experience will help identify potential methods to ensure we maintain responsive and cost effective public safety programs.
