I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. I am Stanley Caldwell and currently serve on the board of directors for Mt. View Sanitary District (MVSD). I have faithfully and diligently served the community and I am seeking re-election.

As Board President and as a member of the Finance Committee I have sincere appreciation for the efforts required for the planning, the scheduling, and of delivering all of the materials in a timely manner to create and adopt a budget. I have served on this committee several times. Since being a board member MVSD has had a reliable and accurate budget and we have never exceeded the budget.

I am firmly committed to upgrading essential facilities, improving reliability and both protecting public health and the environment, maintaining existing sewer lines and pump stations, providing for the capitol improvements necessary to comply with increased regulatory requirements and to continue the current high quality of service by ensuring that MVSD is meeting strict new mandates and requirements.

I have great confidence in the staff and the current board at Mt. View Sanitary District and our ability to compete successfully as one of the best wastewater treatment facilities in the industry. Our successes demonstrate that we are moving in the right direction. As a board member I look forward and want to continue working with you and sharing in the district's continued successes.

I take words like perseverance, character, competence, collaboration, and excellence very seriously - these ideals are at the core of the MVSD strategic values and I am proud to serve as a director for the Mt. View Sanitary District.

Mt. View Sanitary District has the right vision, the right values, and the right strategies. These major strategies enable MVSD to be a world-class organization and the district's performance exemplifies this. The district mission statement "To protect the public health and environment by providing quality wastewater collection, treatment, disposal and related service programs. The District is committed to sound financial management, progressive technology, environmental education, and employee welfare." is unwavering and serves the district very well. I believe that working and living by the mission statement values is instrumental to success of MVSD.

As your experienced elected official I will continue to be effective, efficient, and responsive to customer needs; achieve open communication through teamwork and a spirit of goodwill; continue to support educational and training opportunities at the district; ensure that all of the legal requirements are met and applied consistently; work together to pursue and achieve excellence.

I want to thank you for the opportunity to provide the leadership that makes MVSD a success. If re-elected I will continue to provide award winning service. Please be sure to vote on November 7th 2006.
