Candidate for
Governing Board Member; ALTA LOMA Elementary School District

My husband and I have lived in the district for 22 years and have two wonderful children. I work for a local construction firm handling contracts and claims. In my three years on the Board, I have gained detailed knowledge about the operations of our district. I frequently visit our schools and attend educational opportunities to improve our school district operations and funding. I have kept open communication with parents, administrators, teachers and other district employees to better our schools. With your support I will continue.

I have been involved and served in our schools since 1989 as a:

• Classroom volunteer
• PTA president and served in other PTA officer and chair positions
• Site Council representative
• School district committees including Budget and School Bond committees
• PTA Council positions

• Board Member of the Rancho Cucamonga Library Foundation, raising funds for our new Victoria Gardens Cultural Center (Theatre and Library).

• San Bernardino District Advocates for Better Schools, Exec. Committee
• Member, PTA
