Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Fortuna Union High School District

Born in Texas in 1940, moved to Live Oak, CA. in 1943 went to Live Oak Elementary & High School, graduating in 1958 and moved to Scotia, CA. in 1958. Worked for the U.S. Forest Service, than on to The Pacific Lumber Co. in Scotia, CA., retiring after 41 years.

Married Frances Tucker in 1967. Have numerous children who have gone through local elementary schools and graduating from Fortuna Union High School. Have several Great-Grand Children who are now attending the High School.

Retired from the Scotia Volunteer Fire Dept. after 27 years, have been a BSA Scout Leader for over 27 years, have been on numerous committees (Little League, Fortuna Parks & Recreation Commission, FUHS Site Council, Scotia & Fortuna Kiwanis Clubs). Currently for the past 5 plus years, I have been a full time volunteer for the High School District doing whatever I can and am requested to do.
