No Tax IncreaseBy Charel WinstonCandidate for City Council Member; City of El Dorado Hills | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
There should be no increase in local taxes unless such an increase is approved by the residents of the City of El Dorado Hills. With the incorporation of the City of El Dorado Hills, there should be no increase in local taxes unless such an increase is approved by the residents of the City of El Dorado Hills. As we project a surplus, increased services provided by the City of El Dorado Hills will not require new taxes. As an innovative businesswoman experienced in developing creative new ideas for internet business and e-commerce, I envision a "user-friendly" internet portal, where people can do all their shopping, from purchasing a car to buying a sofa, on the internet without hassles or extraneous charges. Such a new technology approach to automobile buying and community networking without brick and mortar facilities will allow the community to increase its sales tax base without the associated infrastructure requirements. Please review the related links on my site regarding the process of incorporation for the City of El Dorado Hills. There are obvious advantages and benefits to incorporating. I urge everyone to VOTE YES ON MEASURE P. |
