Though I am 19 years old, I want to serve on the CSD Board now because I would like to continue the direction of the Board's leadership. I greatly respect the present members of the CSD Board and believe they have done great work over the last four years, but there is, and will always be, room for improvement. Specifically, to me, we need to strive for the two things that I would like to encourage, community and communication. Both are the fundamental reasons why many of our families chose to live at Fallen Leaf rather than Lake Tahoe. I believe it is the responsibility of the future generations to aspire to be leaders in our community so that these traditions and qualities of "The Leaf" are upheld for years to come.
