I completed my high school education at 17 while serving in the U.S. Navy. The rest of my knowledge was gained in the real world of experience. I`ve run my own businesses in El Dorado County since I was 25 years old. My conservative financial actions helped me survive national recessions and many other swings in business and politics.
I take pride in my reputation for ethical business practices, my fairness and integrity, and in the quality of my work.I have had ties with the Pioneer Union School District through my wife, Robin, a teacher in the district for 15 years. I have always been impressed with the District's incredibly positive and caring atmosphere, supportive attitudes, and the quality of educational programs. The District is solid and well run, its foundation depending on the strength and integrity of so many dedicated people.
