Many issues are debated about why incorporation for El Dorado Hills is a good idea, here, in my opinion, is the most important:The most important reason is also the simplest. Currently with our County Board of Supervisors we have 3 representatives that cover all of El Dorado Hills. Each of us has only one representative we can call on if we have a problem. Not one of these Supervisors is from El Dorado Hills. With a City Council we will all have 5 local representatives to address our concerns and be able to act on those concerns faster. Your City Council will be able to direct funding exactly where it is needed, here in El Dorado Hills, instead of Supervisors who must react to demands from their local constituents in areas throughout the County. If you have a problem locally, you can bet it is a problem your local City Council is working on since they live here too. |
