"El Dorado Hills has been home to Barby and I and our children for 21 years. Our children's families and our parents continue to call El Dorado Hills home. We moved to the Community to raise our children, pursue our careers and eventually retire to enjoy our family, friends and the quality-of-life El Dorado Hills offers. These community roots give me a deep commitment to the community's future well being."

• Presently serving second 4 year term EDH Community Services District Board Director (5 years).

• Member of the EDH Chamber of Commerce (8 years)

• Member of the Friends of the EDH Library (3 years )

• Charter member of the EDH Incorporation Committee (8 years)

• Elected Board Director EDH Fire Department (13 years)

• Charter Board Director El Dorado County Regional Prehospital Emergency Services Operations Authority (CSA 7 County ambulance service) (2.5 years)

• EDH Volunteer Firefighter (2.5 years)

• Member EDH Rotary Club (2.5 years)

• Represent the Community on El Dorado County Supervisor's committees, e.g. EDH/Salmon Falls Advisory Committee (Reviewed proposed development projects for El Dorado Hills), Mather Airport Noise
