Born May 29, 1967 in Youngstown OH with 2 older brothers and 2 younger sisters. Lived in Boardman Ohio till I was 14yrs old then moved to Beavercreek OH in 1981. On June 19th 1985 My family had a devastating loss, my oldest brother, a US Marine SSGT, Thomas T. Handwork, with 3 fellow Marines were killed by terrorists in El Salvador. It was then we met President, Ron Reagan. Our family offered our full support of the president, his cabinet and his policies and lobbied Congressmen and Senators to offer military supplies, training and money to Central American countries-there was never another attack on Americans .
In 1986 I was married and had a daughter named Jacqueline Mclean on Dec 4 1986. In December 1987 I was divorced. With only a high school diploma I found myself responsible to pay child support, working 3 part time jobs and going nowhere in life. January 5 1988, I joined the Marines. I supported and participated in Desert Storm and supported operations in Somalia. I started off as a F/A 18 jet engine mechanic. I moved on to be a NBC (Nuclear Biological and Chemical) Defense Specialist. March 1995 I was honorably discharged from Marines and used the skills I had learned from the Marines and became a Systems Engineer.
I'm married to Katrina N. Monceaux. In 1998 we had our first child Maddyson Anne. On June 21, 2000 we had our second daughter Jessica Marie. For the last 5 yrs I've been working for Diebold Inc headquartered in North Canton Ohio. I'm a Sr systems Engineer. |
