My platform is simple: Every Californian has the self-evident rights to equality, liberty and the pursuit of happiness free of needless government intrusion. I'm totally aligned with the Libertarian Party's commitment to our country's heritage of individual liberty, personal responsibility, and a free-market economy of abundance and prosperity.

I am running for public office because I feel compelled to try and help fix our state's insane, out-of-control government where both Democrats and Republicans recklessly burden everyone with excessive taxation, spending and regulation. We must return California to being a haven that celebrates the creation of freedom, abundance and prosperity!

As an entrepreneur, I'm committed to terminating the corrosive governmental madness that chokes millions of risk-taking entrepreneurs and small-business owners whose efforts, despite our government, create most of the wealth that sustains the prosperity of all Californians (and many non-Californians, for that matter).

Enough already with endless messages of crises, the sky is falling, unless -- you guessed it -- we adopt more of the very same "nanny" government policies that created the mess in the first place. To be clear, I'm not advocating that there aren't problems. My perspective is that many of the problems are caused, magnified and perpetuated by misguided government policy, and that more of this policy is exactly the opposite of what we need.

Government may be a "necessary evil" for some things, but it is NOT the answer to most. The thought that we need government to protect us from ourselves in every aspect of our lives, from cradle to grave, is wrong. Let free enterprise and personal responsibility rule.
