After having our business in the city for many years, my wife and I moved to the City of Orange because we liked the "small town" feel while enjoying the sophistication and safety of Orange County life. As an architect, I have a passion to ensure that the growth, infrastructure, and natural resources of our community are effectively managed "smarter, not faster!" I also have a second career of public service, innovation, and leadership as a commissioned officer in the United States Naval Service. I understand the importance of security concerns when it comes to providing fire and police services in an emergency. All of these challenges must be balanced against resources and revenues which have to be protected from waste and Sacramento politics. Above all, however, the City must be responsive to its taxpayers and business-owners. A visit to City Hall should be empowering not frustrating! I promise to restore accountability, responsibility and decisiveness to the City in order to improve our quality of life.
