Candidate for
Member, City Council; City of Arcata

Fourth generation, life-long resident of Arcata. Most of my family still lives in Arcata. Worked in the adoption field for over 15 years. Currently the Executive Director of the Post Adoption Services Project located in Arcata, and the General Manager of Adoption Horizons located in Eureka. Mother of three children ages 24, 20 and 18. Two of my children are adopted. One was adopted from Korea, and the other from a local birth mother. I have been a dance teacher for twenty years, teaching once a week because I enjoy working with young people. I have been a community volunteer, logging thousands of hours with my church, local AFS exchange students, with Juvenile Hall as a mentor, and COAC an adoptive parent support group.
