Though this was my official title, I actually performed the duties of a corporate Director of Communications for both companies: Created all advertising, collateral and all new product and PR releases for both companies, including concepts, copy platforms, copy writing, all corporate product photography, employee official portraits. Have had more news releases published in the electronic trade press during my employment than were published in the preceding 30+ years of the companies' combined history. Also designed, wrote, created and fabricated product and sales promotion displays, brochures, technical writing, plus created engineering drawings and forms using desk top publishing programs (PageMaker; CorelDRAW); numerous other assignments. Due to inept mismanagement, sales plummeted and all marketing activities were suspended. FREE-LANCE. Special Marketing Projects 1982 - 1990Involved with dozens of marketing projects. Wrote, produced, performed character voices and voice-overs for radio commercials/jingles for a variety of clients with a partner (Cole+Tyson Creative Services). Specialized in high quality printing for prestigious clients, including Neiman-Marcus, Westinghouse, 20th Century Fox and Stanley Kramer Productions. SEIDEMAN & MOISELLE. Advertising and Public Relations Agency 1976 - 1978COPY CHIEF. Developed concepts, copy platforms, and wrote TV, radio, print, collateral and outdoor copy for all accounts. Directed national product rollouts. Other assignments: voice-overs, PR, photography, writing marketing plans, media selection, and new business presentations. THE TYSON AGENCY. Served clients in the cable TV industry, including Telecinema of Columbus (world's first functional and operational two-way pay-per-view cable TV system), COAX CATV, Cable Image. Published Telecinema Magazine. DIAMOND/BROPHY/TYSON, INC. Advertising and Public Relations Agency 1970-1974VICE PRESIDENT/CREATIVE DIRECTOR/ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR. Responsible for all agency creative. Wrote all advertising and PR copy. Developed marketing, advertising, sales promotion and PR programs for all clients in all media: TV, radio, print, outdoor, multi-screen AV, on-site graphics, collateral. Wrote, produced and directed radio, TV and AV productions. Voice-overs for radio, TV & AV. Account Supervisor on agency's major accounts. Developed all marketing plans and new business. PIERCE & COMPANY. Advertising and Public Relations Agency 1968-1970CREATIVE DIRECTOR/ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE. Developed marketing plans and strategy, concepts, copy platforms, media selection. Wrote all copy and PR. Supervised Art Directors. DEAN-RICHARD.
