Candidate for
Board Member; Ramona Municipal Water District; Division 1

This information is provided by the candidate

I am a native San Diegan, and my family has owned land in Ramona since 1953. I now own the family land here - I'm renting in Ramona until I can build my home on that property.

I lived many years in the San Francisco Bay Area, during years of run-away growth. During that time, the East Bay Regional Parks District purchased many beautiful large parks, with space for people and wildlife. Today, those parks provide trails for riding and hiking, picnic areas, nature programs, and many more valuable amenities to the communities they serve.

The East Bay Regional Parks District is a model for how Ramona can preserve large parks. The Ramona Water District is the main agency with parks authority in Ramona. As a member of the Water Board, I will work for an effective parks district and preserve large areas of land in Ramona.
