Professional and Educational Background Dr. Evan Wythe has been practicing Emergency Medicine since the early 80's and has board certifications in both Emergency Medicine and Clinical Toxicology. His training and education has taken him to several countries and he speaks both Spanish and French. After finishing his residency in Emergency Medicine in Denver, he came to UC San Francisco as a research fellow in Clinical Toxicology sponsored by an NIH grant. He previously served on the clinical Faculty in the ER at Stanford, and since 1992 has been Assistant Director and CFO at Eden Emergency Medical Group, Inc. staffing a trauma center ER at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley. Evan and his wife Janet have lived in Los Altos Hills for 5 ½ years. They both enjoy a schedule of tennis matches each week and share their home with a lively cat named Spot. Janet is the Executive Publisher of Track and Field News magazine, which allows them both international travel to track and field sporting events. |
