I originally moved to Santa Barbara in 1982 and after a brief departure, my family and I returned permanently in 1989. My family and I have been residents of Montecito for the past 3 1/2 years. I am a registered nurse and received my BSN degree from Michigan State University. I have worked at Cottage Hospital since 1989 as an operating room nurse. I am currently on the boards of The Lobero Theatre Foundation, Noah's Anchorage, and Family Services Agency. Since 1999 I have been a parent representative for the Santa Barbara Junior High School on the GATE District Advisory Council. I devoloped and chair the committee overseeing Venoco, Inc.'s charitable foundation. I am married with three daughters, two who attend Montecito Union School and one who attends Santa Barbara Junior High School. I consistently volunteer to help in my daughter's classrooms and support the activities of the PTA. |
