Traffic Congestion & Air Flights
Our traffic signals need better coordination. I am committed to reducing traffic congestion by completing the extension of Newport Avenue to Edinger.

We need to stop more planes flying over Tustin. I will fight plans to expand the hours of operation and increase the number of flights at John Wayne Airport. I oppose the county's unworkable plan for El Toro.

Tustin Legacy
I will ensure that the development of Tustin Legacy, the former Marine helicopter base enhances our quality of life. I have served on the Tustin Marine Base Closure Task Force, the Economic Development Council and have served as Chair of the Tustin Planning Commission. I am the only candidate to have served on all three.

Santa Ana's land grab will be re-introduced in Sacramento as new legislation this December. We must be better prepared to fight in Sacramento for Tustin's interests.

Safety/Crime
Most of the crimes committed in Tustin affect our property - our homes, cars, and other valuables. I am committed to reducing this type of crime by increasing the police department's community policing efforts.

Tustin has the finest gang unit in the county, but they need help. The number of gangs in Tustin has doubled from six to twelve since 1995. I will push for an expanded gang unit to turn the tide on drug dealing and other crimes that gangs commit.
