Board Member; Bakersfield City School District

I have served as an accounting and computer programming instructor at Bakersfield College and received a Certificate of Educational Achievement in Microcomputer Consulting after attending an extensive group of classes offered by the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Other community involvement includes Past President, Bakersfield City School District Board of Education, President, BCSD Educational Foundation, Director, Kern County School Boards Assn., Director, Girl Scounts - Joshua Tree Council, Past Chairman, Awards for Excellence Committee, Past Co-Chairperson, Business and Education Committee, Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce, Past Co-Chairperson, and Teacher Hall of Fame Subcommittee. Additionally, I provide leadership to various other civic and community volunteer organizations.
