Currently serving third term as Fresno County Clerk/Registrar of Voters. Elected 1990; re-elected 1994 and 1998.

Attorney at Law: previously employed as a Deputy District Attorney working in the Juvenile Courts (1989-91) and in private practice (1987-89).

Graduate of San Joaquin College of Law (1987 - Juris Doctorate Degree). Served as President of Student Association and Alumni Association.

Employed for 11 years as Marketing director for the Central Valley YMCA (1973-84) prior to Law School.

Currently serving on Board of Directors of Boy Scouts of America - Sequoia Council and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).

Member of Rotary Club of Fresno, National Women's Political Caucus and League of Women Voters.

Past member of Board of Directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Central Valley YMCA, Fresno Women's Network and Cedar Vista Hospital Board of Trustees.
