"We need Board members who are open and approachable. Who will treat the community as their ally, not the adversary, and represent the public by taking leadership. I want to be a board member who listens to the community, looks toward the future and plans accordingly, and commits to academic and social excellence. It is important to me that our students become well-informed, productive, and socially responsible citizens. As an ambassador to the school district, I will continue to be involved in the schools, listen to community concerns, seek out answers to difficult questions and take action to improve our schools."

"It is important to work in harmony with our city government. Partnering with the city is the key to accomplishing many of our goals and we must work together."

"Honesty and integrity must prevail! The board must represent the community fairly and model behavior that is above reproach at all times. I will not compromise my values to gain popularity or take the easy way out and I am committed to taking a leadership position on the board while representing the community with honesty and integrity."

Kris Weaver is leadership that works!
