Bringing Businesslike Efficiency to our City Council

By Wayne F. Rayfield

Candidate for Member, City Council; City of Dana Point

This information is provided by the candidate
We need a City Council in which we can take pride and that will set a positive productive tone for the entire City.
Today's Council is too often paralized by personality conflicts and adversarial relationships. As a result, some City activities suffer and the concerns of residents often are not met.

In my business career and in my work in opposition to the airport, I demonstrated a capacity to energize people and get them to work cooperatively for a common purpose. I would like to bring this same spirit to the City Council.

I will work for a Council where:

ideas are judged solely on their merits; the concerns and needs of residents and local business owners are heard and acted upon promptly; different points of view are respected; and, the members treat each other, the City Staff and residents with respect and dignity.
