Born in San Diego, California. Graduated from Tustin High. receided B.A. with Honros from California STate University @ Fullerton. Received J.D. from Loyola University School of Law. Former congressional aide to Rep. Jerry Patterson. Former public information officer for U.S. House if Representatives committee. Attorney with the Santa Ana law firm of Horton Barbaro & Reilly since 1980. Currently on the Board of Directors for Lancers Soccer Club in Orange and the Democratic Foundation. Formerly on the Board of Directors for the Orange County Consolidated Transportation Services Agency', St. Joseph Ballet Company, Orange County Detention Ministry, Orange County Poverty Law Center, @ the College Legal CLinic in Fullerton. Former Santa Ana Planning Commissioner. Former member of the Santa Ana Personell Board. Former member of Buena Park Community Development Advisory Committee. Married to Cynthia Hanna and live in Santa Ana with our six children, Caitlin, Caroline, Jocko, Janell, John Patrick, and Kelly. Members of Holy Family Cathedral Parish in Orange.
