A 14-year resident of San Clemente, I have broad-based experience and skills.

From August 1994 to August 1998, I was San Clemente's Volunteer Services Manager. I developed and managed the City's program, that over four years, contributed the equivalent of $363,000 in services to the taxpayers. I resigned to run for City Council because I differ with the limited vision many of the candidates have for our future.

Prior to working for the citizens of San Clemente, I enjoyed a 20-year management career in three global corporations, one of them high tech. I have extensive experience and achievements in business operations, budgets, planning, organizational development, customer satisfaction, communications, sales and marketing, and program development and management.

Additionally, I have worked with many local non-profit groups. One of my priorities is to encourage community collaborations and partnerships to leverage resources and solve problems. Each sector has something unique to offer.

I attended the University of Virgnia majoring in Business Administration. I've completed executive programs taught by professors from such prestigous business schools as Harvard, Wharton, and USC. Always open to learning opportunities, I have taken scores of professional and self-improvement classes and seminars.

I live with my husband, Bob, an employee of Unisys, and our three dogs Kerby, Boof, and Flic. Between us, we have five children and five grandchildren in a blended family.
