Governing Board Member; Laguna Beach Unified School District

My goal is to create a new perspective as a Trustee. I believe that it is important for members of the school board to involve themselves directly with the students and administrators. I envision a district involving itself in the improvement of bringing twenty-first century technology into the curriculum. I have discussed these ideas with officials such as President Clinton and have been advised by the Secretary of Education on how such advancements can be implemented.

My firsthand experience within the district provides me with an informed viewpoint from which to deal with the problems faced by our district. I have extensive experience in small business management, and have started a computer consultation company. I have experience in international relations, having served with the under-secretariat council of the United Nations. I have worked with the Community Anti-Drug Coalition of America and shared views with the School Community Advisory council.

I plan to bring a sense of management and responsibility to the Board. I will utilize 100% of my attention and energy in aiding the district; I have the experience, courage and creativity to do so. Please join me in getting politics out and putting solid education back in.
