Born in Safford Arizona on Oct. 22, 1935 to Aaron Nelsonand Dessie Morris. Aaron was a State Senator from Grahm County in 1933. Parents, Grandparents, and Great Grandparents were earl settlers of Arizona, arriving in the early 1870's. They settled the Towns of Pine, and Greer Arizona before moving to Mexico to colinize the Colina Juarez area. Dessie was born in Thatcher, Arizona and was also of pioneer stock that came to Arizona in the 1980's. Larry married Shirley Shumway on March 26 1953 in Salome Arizona. Shirley Was born in Prescott, Arizona and was also of early pioneer stock that came to the State in the early 1870's. She is the daughter of James melvin Shumway and Elvira Johnson. We have four children Larry Jr, James M., Kathy Cross, and William (Willie).We have 21 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I served in the Arizona Air national Guard from 1054 to 1956, and then I finished my military committment in the Air Force Reserve in 1962.

I am an Eagle Scout and the recipient of the Silver Beaver from the Desert Pacific Council. I have been active in scouting since I was a youth.
