Council Member; City of Novato

Josh Fryday, a Novato Native, is the Chief Operating Officer of NextGen Climate, a national organization promoting clean energy jobs, a growing economy and a sustainable future. Fryday previously served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy as a member of the Judge Advocate General's Corps. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley and the UC Berkeley School of Law, and clerked in the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of California and the San Francisco District Attorney's Office. A native of Novato, Fryday lives in Hamilton with his wife, a teacher, and their two young sons.

As kids growing up in Novato Josh and his brother learned the values of family, hard work, and most importantly, giving back. Josh and his wife have decided to raise their two energetic young boys in the Hamilton Area of Novato. Josh's mom, Robyn Fryday, a local Novato business owner and Oscar nominated documentarian is Novato resident that lives in the San Marin area of Novato. Josh's brother his wife live in Novato and are raising their son in the town they grew up. Josh has many cousins and extended family members who also live in Novato.
