My political philosophy is maintaining independence from special interest groups so that I may focus on what is in the best interests of the community.

I make decisions the same way I solve engineering problems: I do research, collect data, analyze the data, and make a decision. As a public servant, I will talk to all the stakeholders affected by the decision, determine all the impacts (both positive and negative), and then determine what the optimal solution is. I recognize the solution probably won't make everyone happy, but I intend to be fair and open-minded.
