I am running for state senator because I want the peoples' interest to be represented and addressed. We are in a state of emergency with our school system and the increase in our taxes. I plan to fight to ensure that we have a fair and transparent school funding formula that will allocate funding according to need. Also, I want to bring in more businesses to the community which would help defray some of the tax burdens.
