Board Member; Brisbane Elementary School District

Academic Achievement: The Common Core and the district's commitment to Highly Effective Teaching are solid blueprints for student achievement. My goal is to ensure that they are implemented in the most rigorous way possible. I will work to find solutions that will keep our district up to date with current technology and will support teachers with training to enhance academic achievement.

Sound Fiscal Decisions: When I am faced with any decision, I listen carefully, review the data and consider all stakeholders. I will use this same sound and informed judgment as a member of our school board. I know that a well allocated budget is one that allows our schools to reach student-learning priorities.

Student Safety: To achieve their best, our students must feel safe. I will work to make sure that all of the students in our district feel safe, both physically and emotionally, while assessing our facilities and infrastructure to ensure they are sound and well maintained.
