Los Osos CSD Director Jon-Erik Storm lives with his family in Los Osos. Jon-Erik's wife Lara just became the Principal of Monarch Grove Elementary in Los Osos. In 2010, after practicing law in San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria, Jon-Erik started his own firm, right here in Los Osos. Later that year, his first child, Asher, was born. In 2012, his daughter Dinah was born. In his legal career, Jon-Erik has represented clients of all kinds from Fortune 500 corporations to individuals and non-profits throughout the Central Coast. He has tried cases in civil court and argued cases in the appellate courts in both the state and federal court systems. Jon-Erik has also served for 5 years as an arbitrator for the State Bar of California and the County of Santa Barbara Bar Association, helping to provide clients with free and fair resolution of their disputes with their lawyers. Jon-Erik currently serves as board president of the JCC Federation, one of the fastest growing and most dynamic non-profits in the county. In addition to tending to his children, our town, clients, and non-profit work, in 2013, Jon-Erik was hired as a member of the faculty at Cuesta College where he teaches religion and philosophy. Jon-Erik sees this work as not only personally rewarding, but as a vital element of our economy where students of all ages can go to get new skills at an affordable price. If he ever has a spare moment, Jon-Erik is an avid reader, enjoys playing chess, and watching hockey, football, and soccer. |
