Being smart with money is essential to running a school district.
I was a School-Site Council Member for two different schools in Oceanside, where I helped set budgets and approve school plans to achieve goals that include academic achievements, school policies, and safety. I also worked my way through college by owning and running my own small business, so I understand the importance of creating and working within a budget.
