Summary of Tamara's Plans for the Future if re-elected.Tamara considers her commitment to education and the community unfinished and is excited to begin working towards her goals for the future. She will continue maintain fiscal responsibility within the school district while seeking new and creative funding with sustainability for program expansions. She wants to foster better relationships between schools and the communities they serve, this includes Q&A seminars at local gathering places, developing workshops between parents and community partners, and the development of open spaces at some of the campuses to build parks that can be utilized by the communities they serve. She wants to continue to encourage more language programs in schools. Start career pathway strains in middle schools that will bridge to high schools. Her vision is for one to one technology to be used as a form of pedagogy so that students might take advantage of advancements in technology and be competitive in the world they live and grow in. What began as a responsibility towards her own children developed into a universal advocacy for the future of all youth; it is her driving motivation to build a better future by supporting the youth today. |
