- Empower and Motivate Parents and Children
As a Parent, Special Needs Advocate and a Ontario-Montclair School District (OMSD) Graduate I know we have solid programs at OMSD, but unless we get the Parents and Children motivated these programs will not be successful. We need to reach out to our families, through Community Events, Church Leaders, Social Media and any other source of communication. Provide education, counseling, and workshops that will provide information about college preparation, technical schools and financial literacy for the family. If we learn to communicate with our families and empower them with information we can make a difference.
- Work with our City Leaders to support our School District goals
We need to put politics and personality conflicts aside, as a School Board Member I will collaborate with our City Leaders to gain their support for our School District and ensure our Children's Safety is their top priority.
- Retain our Outstanding Educators and Classified Workers
We must be competitive with our neighboring School Districts to retain our best educators and classified workers, by being competitive we will ensure our employees are committed to our Children's education and safety.
As a School Board Member I will be here to serve the Ontario-Montclair Communities ensuring Education is my #1 Priority.
