I have been honored to represent the city in many regional, state and federal positions.

I have served on the US Conference of Mayors for nine years; 2 years as co-chairman of the transportation committee.

I have served as the President of the Association of California Cities Allied with Public Safety representing over 50 cities statewide in our advocacy for safer prisons and public safety readiness and awareness.

I have served as Chairman of Sacramento County Local Area Formation Commission (LAFCO); Chairman of Sacramento County Transportation Authority; Chairman of the Folsom/ El Dorado County Joint Powers Authority; Chairman of the Southeast Corridor Joint Powers Authority.

I have served as a Director of the Folsom Chamber of Commerce; Director of the Folsom Rotary Club; member of the Folsom Masonic Lodge. Partial list- more upon request.
