Kevin Topp grew up in Tustin and has been enjoying the canyons since he was five years old. A product developer, graphic designer and inventor, Topp has lived in Silverado since 1997. He has been involved in a number of start-up companies, including one that developed the CD Stomper CD/DVD labeling system. The company was later sold to Avery Denison. Topp also helped pioneer the new market of custom-designed Architectural Audio. Now head of his own advertising agency, Topp has helped the Silverado Modjeska Recreation and Park District with recreation fliers, advertising for the Children's center and participation on its policy committee. He also took the lead on designing the SMRPD logo. Topp is best known, however, as a founder and manager of Silverado's free Summer Concert Series, which draws audiences up to 500 people. Now in its 8th year, the concerts' price of admission is a can of food, which is donated to a food bank to feed hungry families in the canyons.
