Water Quality, Supply, and Infrastructure Improvement Act of 2014
This Act reallocates and increases funds while focusing on three objectives, more reliable water supplies, the restoration of important species and habitat, and a more resilient and sustainably managed water infrastructure.

The more than $7 billion price tag is expensive, but necessary to address major upgrades as well as repairs. The general obligation bonds are necessary to ensure Californians have access to safe drinking water. It repeals some provisions approved previously to better unify efforts to address the effects of the worst drought in 200 years.
