Board Member; Huntington Beach Union High School District

As a mother of two enrolled children in the Huntington Beach Union High School District, I have an understanding of the issues that we face today. The high school district is experiencing challenges with updating campus technology, maintaining and enhancing campus safety, engaging students and faculty with the transition to Common Core, and funding financial obligations along with the campus activities across all of the schools. The various constituents, including student, parent, teacher, and administrator, must be supported to foster an environment for success.

I support:

Updating campus technology to meet current and future needs

Restoring campus officers to our school district

Maintaining safe and clean campuses and facilities

Meeting the financial obligations of the district while representing the tax payer

Enhancing student curriculum and campus experience

Strengthening the arts and sports programs in the district
