Candidate for
Council Member; City of Lake Forest

Andrew Hamilton is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who resides in Lake Forest, California with his wife Jill and their two daughters. A native Buckeye, Andrew graduated from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, where he earned his bachelors of Science in Accounting and Systems in 1992. He started his career at a Big 4 CPA firm in Irvine in 1992, obtained his CPA in 1995 and attained progressive accounting experience throughout his career at Walt Disney Company, Gambro Healthcare, GTC Telecom and Semitropic Water Storage District, DLC and Mesa Water District.

In 2006, he joined the Orange County office of DLC, the Woodland Hills based Accounting and Finance consulting firm, as an Accounting Management Consultant. DLC competes with Big 4 consulting firms hiring only Big 4 CPA's or MBA's from the nation's 25 top-ranked schools. In 2009, Andrew established his own consulting firm, AH Consulting, which has served Fortune 1000 companies by providing interim management in consulting roles. Andrew is also currently the Chief Financial Officer at Mesa Water District located in Costa Mesa, California.

Andrew married his wife while attending First Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton. Since moving to Lake Forest in 2007 with his wife and small children, we have attended and are members at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest.

Andrew is also the founder of Discovered Money, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves individuals and non-profits to help find their Unclaimed Property. Andrew volunteers and sits on the board of True Hope Ministries, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Lake Forest, California. Andrew is also a volunteer as an AYSO soccer referee and coach, Olive Crest Foster parent, and at Indian Christian ministries.
