Candidate for
Board Member; Santa Ana Unified School District

Dear friends,

I would be honored, and humbled to serve as member of SAUSD board member if elected.

As an education advocate, I believe in high academic standards, staff performance and fiscal accountability in public education. I will ensure that our school district continues to exceed these standards and that every dollar benefits our children's education.

As a business owner with a degree in Accounting, I have mastered goal-setting, and balancing budgets. As a tax/accounting teacher/adjunct professor at ORT Jewish College, I know the art of inspiration, motivation, and learning! As a proud father of four, I know the necessity of discipline, patience, and commitment.

As a 25 year Santa Ana resident, I am fluent in Spanish and I understand the issues pertaining to our families, teachers and schools, to succeed. We need to empower the students, the teachers, and the parents, making learning a priority. My knowledge, expertise and direct involvement as co-founder of OC Latino Outreach, a non-profit organization in which we host free educational seminars to our residents, has led me to serve with our leaders. My vision and unique ideas will move SAUSD forward!
